AI reads text in chunks called tokens. A long word can be one token, while a short word can be several. Try a word, watch it split, and find the longest one.
- Choose exactly 1, 2, or 3 tokens.
- Letters only accepts letters in any language, without spaces or symbols. We don't check a dictionary.
- Anything goes accepts punctuation, numbers, and spaces too. Invisible and control characters are excluded.
- Case and spaces change tokens. We never add a leading space or trim your entry.
- Length counts Unicode code points after NFC normalization. Maximum 256 characters.
- Each entry belongs to its first finder. Nicknames aren't verified identities.
All boards use OpenAI's o200k_base encoding, via gpt-tokenizer. Token pieces may show a replacement character when a token splits a Unicode character. No AI calls, just the tokenizer.
